POETIC CITY

Gallery I will feature Poetic City, a high energy and inclusive performance arts entity that supports all forms of creative expression. As their second exhibition at the PACC, this year they introduce “Perception” a show that represents how artists see the world today from technology, health, spirituality, human engagement, social awareness, education and much more. Poetic City’s goal is to recognize that love and ambition come in all shapes and sizes, they work to coordinate and promote professional platforms for those seeking a creative outlet for their passion. “Perception” is curated by artist and photographer Sunee Rice and Poetic City founder and 2021 Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2021 Paseo Arts Awards, Bleek Blakely. The exhibition includes vibrant paintings and 3D work by 15 artists.

PAA MEMBERS’ SHOW

Gallery II displays the PAA’s Annual Members’ Show showcasing the best art works in all visual mediums created by our amazing and talented group of Paseo Arts Association members.

This year’s juror is Nicole Moan, an active artist with over 20 years of experience in wearable ceramic, three-dimensional wall sculptures and mixed media work. She seeks to show the world how we are all connected and have unique beauty through art.

Nicole Moan is an environmentally conscious artist, repurposing materials and powering her studio with solar energy. An active, exhibiting artist as well as board and committee work, who teaches art to inner city kids. She seeks to show the world, through art, how we are all connected and have a unique beauty. 20+ years experience creating art, including wearable ceramic corsets, 3 dimensional wall sculptures incorporating mixed media, innovative up-cycled display and applications. A specialist in wearable art in the form of ceramics and fabric, Nicole uses her education in mechanics and welding to generate a unique creation process for both her art and in the mentoring of young artists and contemporaries.
