It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancelation of the 2020 Paseo Arts Festival, scheduled for September 5-7.
After careful consideration and exploring the ways we could host an event safely, we have decided that cancelation is the best choice in the interest of keeping our community safe.
We are devastated to share this news. Every year we look forward to connecting with our community and celebrating the arts through this festival. We know this is an enormous disappointment to our artists, performers and everyone involved in this annual event, but their safety is our top priority.
The festival is the largest annual fundraiser for the PAA. We are committed to finding other ways to enrich, educate and inspire the public through the arts. If you would like to make a donation, please visit our Support page. Take care of yourselves. We hope to be able to gather safely on Memorial Day Weekend next year. 💚
More than 90 visual artists will fill the Historic Paseo Arts District, selling original artwork in a wide variety of media, from painting and photography to wood and jewelry. The Festival also hosts more than 50 live performers and musicians on three stages. The food court at Paseo Drive and 29th Street will feature a variety of food vendors, bringing traditional and not-so-traditional Festival treats, both savory and sweet.
Each year, the Paseo Arts Festival draws more than 60,000 people who come to enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of this event. As the Paseo Arts Association’s largest annual fundraiser, the Festival helps to support arts events in the Paseo year-round. We hope that you will join us!
