Copper Etching
Learn to cut copper and etch over 3 hours and build various copper shapes and vessels
Etching copper is not a complex process with the right tools and supplies to hand. With a few simple safety guidelines and some expert advice, you can create copper etched jewelry pieces that are truly unique and professionally finished. You draw up your own design, use a pre-stamped design, or take inspiration from other patterns and prints, you can certainly etch it into your copper jewelry pieces.
Class open to individuals 16 & older.

This course will be taught, 6:30-8:30pm each complete single evening session October 5 • October 19 • November 9• November 30

Paseo Arts and Creativity Center 3024 Paseo, OKC, OK Cost $100 per person Supplies included - A brief supply list will be provided upon enrollment, safety, and supplies will be discussed during the first segment of the class session. Marylee will provide everything you need for the session as well as inspiration for your various pieces you will create.
About Your Instructor
Marylee Wright is a current resident studio artist at the Paseo Arts and Creativity Center. Marylee was a professional graphic designer for 32 years. For 8 years Marylee has been turned her attention towards fine art mediums such as oil, watercolor and ceramic arts. Copper etching and working in alcohol inks are other mediums that are excellent for creativity.
