Eat Your Bugs! Fermented Salsa Workshop

  • SixTwelve 612 Northwest 29th Street Oklahoma City, OK, 73103 United States (map)

You’ve most likely heard of pre-biotics and pro-biotics. You’ve probably even heard of kombucha, kefir and sauerkraut. Join us to understand how all these are connected and why people are talking about them.

In this hands-on workshop you will discover the benefits of fermenting your vegetables and how easy it can be to make. You will learn a little bit of microbiology, the safety of fermenting, different types of ferments and their benefits to your health. Then, we will make a jar of salsa together for you to take home and ferment.

$40 for non-members, $20 for members.
See link to "Tickets" in this Facebook event to register or see our calendar online at www.sixtwelve.org.
