The history of terrariums dates to the Victorian period. Recently back in vogue, terrariums are now a modern, compelling addition to home decor, able to be utilized in almost any location, requiring almost no additional care. Creating these living works of art is simple and fun. You don't need to be a designer or have a green thumb to create and enjoy something that can last months or even years without any additional attention. In this hands-on class you'll learn the basics of assembling and caring for terrariums. We'll provide all the materials and instruction necessary and at the end of the day you'll be able to take home your very own garden under glass.

Phillip Koszarek graduated from the University of Oklahoma with bachelors degrees is Botany and Spanish. He has worked in landscaping for 15 years, both interior and exterior. He has created and sold dozens of terrariums, many of which utilize locally sourced plants and mosses and stones as medium.
