Jim Reznicek is a local photographer whose fine art works include landscapes, macro and still-life images. Jim’s original work is heavily influenced by his strong Christian faith. “As I plan my trips, as I hit the trailhead, as I hike, I’m continually asking the Holy Spirit if there’s something out here this day that He’s especially proud of, and that He’d like me to capture,” Jim explains.
“I’m overflowing with gratitude that He’s allowing me to go to these places, to see His wonders and to do what He originally created me to do!”
Having spent almost 25 years in commercial construction supervision and project management, Jim began seriously pursuing his calling, photography, in late 2016. Since that time, he has participated in a number of exhibitions in the Oklahoma City Area, including a run as guest artist at the Contemporary Art Gallery on the Paseo. Catch his show, Hidden Treasures: Seeing into the Unseen in the Paseo Art Space through the month of April, with an opening reception during the First Friday Gallery Walk on April 6!
